In order to provide a small-hole electric-discharge machining apparatus capable of efficiently disposing of waste from the electric-discharge machining gap and performing small-diameter electric-discharge-hole processing at a high speed, this small-hole electric-discharge machining apparatus is configured to comprise: an electrode guide (13) for guiding in the Z-axis direction the bottom of a processing electrode (11) near a work piece (14) through a liquid film of processing fluid; a high-pressure processing-fluid reservoir (9) capable of accommodating high-pressure processing fluid (22c) inside a housing block (17) for securing the electrode guide (13) near the work piece; and a high-pressure processing-fluid spray opening (9a) at the bottom of the high-pressure processing fluid reservoir (9), limited to a hole diameter minutely larger than the diameter of the electrode, capable of penetrating into an electrical-discharge-machining gap without significantly widening a spray flow of high-pressure processing fluid (22c), and having a diameter approximately equal to that of an entry-hole electrical-discharge machining hole (35a) formed by small-hole electric-discharge machining. |
