An interconnector assembly and a method are provided. In the interconnector assembly, a second cell tab is arranged opposite a first cell tab, which comprises a first metal. The second cell tab comprises a second metal having a higher hardness than that of the first metal. In addition, the assembly comprises an interconnection member which is arranged opposite the second cell tab. Also, the assembly comprises a weld assisting layer, which is arranged opposite the first cell tab so that the first and second cell tabs are arranged between the weld assisting layer and the interconnection member. |
