Novelty: A digital thermometer made of antibacterial/antimicrobial cooper or copper-contained alloys is disclosed. Constitution: The external body (1), the battery cap (2) allowing the insertion of the thermometer's battery, the ON-OFF button (3), the screen (4) and the end (5) constituting the temperature measurement sensor contacting a preferred region of the human body; the external surface of all these parts -except that of the screen- is either manufactured of antibacterial/antimicrobial cooper or of cooper alloys. Purpose: Natural neutralization -with no use of sterilization means- of pathogenic microbes living on the thermometer's body and, thereby, limitation of the further spreading of bacteria and microbes. |
