An X-ray diagnostic apparatus as in an embodiment is provided with a data collection unit and a data processing unit. The data collection unit collects X-ray projection data corresponding to a plurality of directions from a subject, into which a stent provided with a plurality of markers has been inserted, by exposing the subject to X-rays from the plurality of directions. The data processing unit finds the spatial position of at least one marker among the plurality of markers on the basis of first three-dimensional image data generated by a first image reconstruction process with respect to the X-ray projection data, and generates second three-dimensional image data by a second image reconstruction process for the X-ray projection data that accompanies a correction that uses the shift amount between the projection position of the spatial position of the marker on the projection plane of the X-ray projection data and a two-dimensional position of the corresponding marker found on the basis of the X-ray projection data.
