PURPOSE: A photographing image editing method and an apparatus thereof are provided to offer an automatic arrangement function for a photographing image by automatically rotating the photographing image based on direction information corresponding to a rotation angle of a photographing apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A file generation unit(130) generates image files for photographing images. When an image is photographed from the generated image file, an information acquisition unit(140) acquires direction information corresponding to the rotation angle of a photographing apparatus(100).
