PURPOSE: A system for providing a CPNS(Converged Personal Network Service) and a method thereof are provided to supply a CPNS in a general WiFi AP(Access Point) without OMA(Open Mobile Alliance) CPNS standards. CONSTITUTION: A second CPNS terminal(200) receives a response message to a mode search message from a first CPNS terminal. The second CPNS terminal transmits a personal network connection request message to the first CPNS terminal. The second CPNS terminal forms a personal network through the first CPNS terminal. The second CPNS terminal transmits a service request message to the first CPNS terminal. The second CPNS terminal receives a corresponding service. A CPNS device(400) transmits the corresponding service to an AP when receiving the service request message from the AP.
