PURPOSE: An anti-heeling ship and an operational method thereof are provided to efficiently reduce a heeling by moving ballast water to the opposite side of a crane before the heeling is generated by the operation of the crane in the ship. CONSTITUTION: An anti-heeling ship comprises a crane(100), a pump(200), a first pipe(300), and a second pipe(400). The crane is installed on the port or starboard side of a deck. The pump is installed in the lower part of a hull, and is connected to multiple ballast tanks. The first pipe connects one side of the pump and the ballast tanks locating under the deck where the crane is installed at a right angle. The second pipe straightly connects the other side of the pump and a ballast tank in the opposite side of the ballast tank locating under the deck where the crane is installed. If the crane operates to load cargo, the pump pumps water to one of the ballast tanks through the first and second pipes.
