PURPOSE: A semiconductor device and a data transmitting method thereof are provided to prevent the collision of data in continuous write and read operations by including a sub data line. CONSTITUTION: A normal data line(CGIO) connects memory banks(11,21,31) to a data pad(15) for transmitting data. A sub data line(SGIO) connects the memory bank to the data pad for transmitting data. A data line selecting unit(13,23,33) outputs the data to one of the data line and the sub data line in response to a command signal. A command signal includes a write command and a read command.
