Provided is a system whereby a sufficient effect of improving the hydrophilicity of contact lenses can be obtained without damaging the texture or cleansing effect thereof and, furthermore, the adhesion of grease stains thereto can be effectively prevented. Also provided is a packaging solution for contact lenses, a decrease over time in the viscosity of which can be effectively regulated or inhibited even after heat sterilization. An aqueous solution in which contact lenses are to be immersed, said aqueous solution containing low-molecular hyaluronic acid with a molecular weight of 80,000 or less or a salt or derivative thereof, having a pH value of 6.0-8.0 and having an osmotic pressure of 220-380 mOsm. |
