<p>This embedding tray is an embedding tray for producing an embedding block in which a specimen is embedded in an embedding agent while the embedding block is affixed to the bottom surface of an embedding cassette, and is provided with: a bottomed cylindrical tray body that has a recessed portion in which the specimen is housed and the melted embedding agent can be poured, and has an upper surface on which the embedding cassette is mounted; and a contact body that is provided on the upper surface of the tray body and is in contact with at least one side surface of the mounted embedding cassette.
