The unit has a base plate (3) i.e. plate-like plastic support, including a receiving profile (4) of an illuminating device (5). A shutter fixes the shining device in the receiving profile, and the base plate is fixed to a motor car with an adhesive agent. The base plate includes two receiving regions (8, 9) on both sides of the receiving profile, and a releasable fixing element i.e. neodymium magnet, of the shutter is arranged in the receiving regions. The shutter comprises a bent edge, which is engaged with an edge area (13) of the base plate.
