PURPOSE: A reformer for fuel cell is provided to have a cylindrical shape and enhance heat exchange effects. CONSTITUTION: A reformer for fuel cell has a cylindrical structure in which a burner(101), high temperature reformer reformation parts(110), a first heat exchanger(141), first adiabatic sections(151), a CO shifter(120), a second heat exchanger(142), second adiabatic sections and CO removal parts(130) are successively formed. In the high temperature reformer, process H2O and hydrocarbon based fuel are catalyst reacted by heat at a first temperature. In the CO shifter, CO and the residue reactants created in the high temperature reformer are catalyst reacted at a second temperature which is lower than the first temperature. In the CO removal part, residual CO in the CO shifter and oxygen are catalyst reacted at a third temperature which is lower than the second temperature. |
