PURPOSE: An apparatus for setting a gasbombe is provided to prevent the gasbombe from being moved and coupled to a governor by preventing the movement of a movable plate to a coupling position by an excessive operating force when the gasbombe is not loaded at a regular position. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for setting a gasbombe comprises a movable plate(20), a bombe loading part, a bombe receiving part, and a partition plate(5). The gasbombe inserted into the bombe loading part is pressurized toward a governor by the bombe receiving part equipped in the movable plate. The movable plate is moved along the partition plate, which blocks a space between a burner and the bombe loading part, through a loading position on which the gasbombe is loaded and a coupling position in which the stem of the gasbombe and the governor are coupled. The movable plate is pressurized by a pressurizing member in the direction of the loading position. A setting operation lever is rotatably attached to the partition plate, and is equipped with a cam hole and an elastic displacement part(33). A cam pin is latched on the cam hole so that the movable plate is moved from the loading position to the coupling position when the setting operation lever is rotated from an initial position to a setting position. The elastic displacement part is elastically displaced in the direction of the setting position. When the elastic displacement part is elastically displaced in the direction of the setting position and an operating force on the setting operation lever is released, the elastic displacement part elastically returns, the movable plate returns to the loading position by the pressurizing member, and the setting operation lever returns to the initial position.
