<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device that achieves both reduction in thickness and cost and long-term performance retention. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorizing device includes catalyst carriers 25 and 30 for carrying an optical catalyst and ozone decomposition catalyst and circulating air, and a discharge electrode unit 20 for discharging an ultraviolet ray and ozone. The discharge electrode unit is provided on the upstream side of the catalyst carriers in a fluid flow direction, and includes a discharge electrode 22 for generating an ultraviolet ray and ozone by discharging, a main pipe 40 containing the discharge electrode and transmitting the ultraviolet ray, and a plurality of branch pipes 42 each communicating with a main pipe and extending from the main pipe, having a plurality of discharge holes for discharging ozone generated from the discharge electrode, and formed with a flat ozone discharge region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
