<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of a false color in a high frequency section. <P>SOLUTION: A single plate-type color imaging element in which color filters of color filter arrangement where filters of all RGB colors are periodically arranged in respective lines in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction are arranged is used. Weighted average values for respective colors of pixel values of respective pixels in a mosaic image outputted from the color imaging element are calculated by using a weighted average filter having a filter coefficient with which the ratios of the total sum of the filter coefficients for the respective colors in respective lines in the horizontal and vertical directions become equal. When the pixel value of the other color in a pixel position of a target pixel of a synchronization processing at a center of the weighted average filter is calculated, the pixel value of the other color is estimated by interpolating the pixel value of the target pixel by a color ratio or a color difference of the calculated weighted average value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
