<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling on-die termination, improved in calibration accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for controlling on-die termination includes: an on-die termination control unit adjusting on-die termination resistance to be equal to an external resistance; an offset compensating unit detecting an offset voltage value of a comparator from an output voltage of the on-die termination control unit to store in a capacitor, when a first pulse signal is activated, and, after canceling the offset voltage value when a second pulse signal is activated, comparing the output voltage with a preset reference voltage to output the result; a latch storing the output of the offset compensating unit for a predetermined time when a third pulse signal is activated; and a counter counting the output of the latch and increasing or decreasing a code signal. The offset compensating unit cancels the offset voltage value to compare with the reference voltage, the offset voltage value being stored when the second pulse signal is activated, and the latch and the counter are controlled to be activated according to the third pulse signal controlled to an activated state during an interval when the second pulse signal is activated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
