<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device and a transmission method of a radio communication system which improve a communication performance by compensating an amplitude phase in advance when transmission is performed dividing spectra of a transmission signal. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission device comprises: spectrum division means for dividing a transmission signal into a plurality of sub-spectra; amplitude and phase adjustment means for correcting and outputting the amplitude and phase of each sub-spectrum; and a plurality of transmitters for transmitting each sub-spectrum as a radio signal. The spectrum division means divides the spectra of the transmission signal such that normalized signal voltage at a division frequency will be 0.5 and the sum of signal voltage corresponding to a detuning frequency of two sub-spectra to be divided from the division frequency will be 1; and the amplitude and phase adjustment means employs the amplitude and phase by which the reception signal level at the divided frequency is minimum as a calibration value if the transmission device transmitted a signal about which a 180 degree phase rotation is given to any of even numbered sub-spectra or odd numbered sub-spectra on the frequency axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
