<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home appliance control system which, even when the sum total of electric energy used is limited, allows the usage state of home appliances to be maintained as desired by the electricity customer according to environment conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The electric energy used by each home appliance and environment conditions are periodically measured by electric energy measurement units/control units 4a to 4h and environment information measurement units 5a to 5c, which are then transmitted to an appliance control server 20 where data are successively stored in a usage state table 24a. On the basis of the result of a usage probability of each home appliance under each environment condition estimated by a usage probability estimation unit 21 on the basis of the stored data, the appliance control server 20 determines the usage priority of each home appliance in a usage priority determination unit 22 and registers the determined priority in a usage priority registration table 24b. When the sum total of electric energy used by home appliances exceeds a prescribed electric energy threshold, one or a plurality of home appliances having low registered usage priorities are extracted as candidate appliances subject to stoppage by an appliance control unit 23, and the result is transmitted as a control directive to an indoor control subsystem 10, whereby the relevant home appliances are made to stop operating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
