<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake which can further surely perform wear adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: The disc brake comprises: a toggle link 130 which amplifies an input to a connecting point 150 between a first link 132 and a second link, and outputs it; a piston member 126 which is connected to the toggle link 130 and can axially move by receiving the output; and an adjustment mechanism 200 for adjusting a clearance generated by the wear of a brake pad or a disc rotor. The adjustment mechanism 200 is constituted so as to elongate the axial length of the piston member 126 by rotation around the axial direction of the piston member 126. The adjustment mechanism 200 comprises a gear mechanism including a first gear 202 which is arranged so as to rotate in conjunction with the movement of the connecting point 150 in the brake-releasing direction, and a third gear 220 for outputting the rotation of the first gear 202 to the piston member 126. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
