A fuel cell module (100) has a fuel cell in which a plurality of membrane electrode assemblies (120) are arranged in a planar array. A first opening position adjustment part (192) and a second opening position adjustment part (190) adjust the relative positions of the high activity region and the protective member (180) in the direction in which the membrane electrode assemblies (120) are arrayed, and/or the spacing between the protective member (180) and a cathode catalyst layer (124), according to the change in humidity and temperature accompanying the change in the surrounding environment and the state of operation of the fuel cell module (100). |
