The vertical speed indicator has movable iron or high frequency cores (A,B) which are located in opposition manner, on which conductor coils (C,D) are wound mechanically and permanently. The cores are rotated against each other about an axis (E) and the inductance is adjusted based on magnetic coupling. The conductor coils are connected by a highly flexible, short conductors (X,Y).
