The drinking water filter has a filter insert (40) provided with a supporting body (44) and a filter body (45). The former supporting body is provided as a tubular hollow body, which has a wall. The wall is provided with multiple through-holes. The filter body is attached on or at outer side of the former supporting body. Another supporting body (48) is arranged within the former supporting body and lies at inner side of the former supporting body or lies during operation of the drinking water filter.
