PURPOSE: A power distribution administration system and a method thereof are provided to reduce a failure recovery time by finding a failure section exactly and delivering the same to an operator when a failure signal occurs. CONSTITUTION: A power distribution administration system comprises an SOTS terminal(100), a DCP server(300a), a main server(400a), and database(500a). The SOTS terminal collects field measurement data which is measured in a same time in a plurality of power distribution automatization terminal devices and an event signal generated in the plurality of power distribution automatization terminal devices. The DCP server receives the field measurement data and the event signal from the SOTS terminal, receives a control command about the plurality of power distribution automatization terminal devices, and transmits to the power distribution automatization terminal device. The main server detects a protection cooperation corrected value of a protection device and a failure section of the power distribution for distribution protection, based on an event signal received from the DCP server. The main server performs a real-time distribution interpretation by using the field measurement data, and sends control information including the detected protection cooperation corrected value, failure section, and distribution interpretation information to the DCP server. The database stores and manages the field measurement data, event signal, protection cooperation corrected value, failure section and distribution interpretation information received from the main server.
