PURPOSE: A stiffener for a ship is provided to reduce fuel consumption by reducing the weight of a ship. CONSTITUTION: A stiffener for a ship comprises a block(100), a stiffener(200), a bonding layer(300), and holding members(400). The block supports load. The stiffener is closely arranged at the bottom of the block and is made of a material different to the block. The bonding layer is arranged between the block and the stiffener and bonds the block and the stiffener. The holding members are installed on the stiffener and maintain the thickness of the bonding layer.
