<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric speaker suppressing the variation of quality, advantageously ensuring sound pressure, and having a waterproof structure suitable for downsizing. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric speaker 10 has a structure in which a sounder unit 40 is sandwiched between a first housing 20 and a second housing 30. An edge portion 42A of a vibration plate 42 of the sounder unit 40 is disposed between the inner peripheral sides and the outer peripheral sides of edge portions 26 and 36 of the first and second housings 20 and 30, and sandwiched between the edge portions 26 and 36. In a groove portion 48 formed on the whole circumference by both edge portions 26 and 36 of the first and second housings 20 and 30, and the edge portion 42A of the vibration plate 42 of the sounder unit 40, a waterproof wall 52 made from an adhesive 50 is formed. The second housing 30 and the vibration plate 42 are bonded by an adhesive layer 46, and the edge portion 26 of the other housing 20 and the vibration plate edge portion 42A are bonded by a bonding layer 54 made from a part of the adhesive 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
