FENOFIBRATE-CONTAINING COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain bioavailability at a high level by improving elution properties of fenofibrate.

SOLUTION: The fenofibrate-containing composition contains fenofibrate (A) and a nonionic fatty acid ester-based surfactant (B). In the nonionic fatty acid ester-based surfactant (B), HLB may be around 1-20. The fenofibrate-containing composition may contain co-pulverized granules of the fenofibrate (A) and the nonionic fatty acid ester-based surfactant (B). The ratio of the nonionic fatty acid ester-based surfactant (B) to 100 pts.wt. of the fenofibrate (A) may be around 1-10 pts.wt. The fenofibrate-containing composition may further contain at least one selected from a binder, an excipient, and a disintegrator.
