PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor in which interference with a screen pattern becomes less even if a rule pattern which is a pattern obtained by repeating a previously determined rule exists in image information.

SOLUTION: An image processor includes: a reception section 71 for receiving rasterized image information; a regular pattern detection section 72 for detecting an image region of the regular pattern from image information; and a screen processing section 73 for performing a screen processing by a first screen on an image region except for the image region of the regular pattern and performing a screen processing by a second screen on the image region of the regular pattern. The regular pattern detection section 72 selects a target pixel and a pixel in a range previously determined for the target pixel from image information, and determines whether the target pixel is the pixel constituting the regular pattern from a position relation of the target pixel in the regular pattern and a comparison result of pixel values of the plurality of pixels selected from the pixels in the previously determined range.
