PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine system which can maintain an air ratio of an air-fuel mixture supplied to an engine to a predetermined value even if a heating value of fuel gas changes significantly and can operate the engine stably while achieving cost reduction and the simplification of configuration.

SOLUTION: The engine system includes: a mixer 2 for generating a mixed fuel gas G3 of first fuel gas G1 and second fuel gas G2 or an air-fuel mixture M of the second fuel gas G2 and combustion air A, as fuel gas G; a fuel flow control valve 13 for controlling a supply flow of the fuel gas G to the mixer 2; an air-fuel mixture flow regulating valve 14 for regulating a flow at which an air-fuel mixture M is supplied to the engine 3; an engine output control part 11c for controlling an opening of the air-fuel mixture flow regulating valve 14 so that an output of the engine 3 becomes a target output; and an air-fuel mixture pressure control part 11b for controlling an opening of the fuel flow control valve 13 so that the pressure of the air-fuel mixture M supplied to the engine 3 becomes target pressure in an air-fuel mixture supply path 4.
