<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the alignment of paper on a processing tray by controlling a variation in the distribution of paper conveyed from an introductory conveying path to a paper receiving tray. <P>SOLUTION: A post-processing device 20 includes the introductory conveying path 222, the processing tray 24, the paper receiving tray 28, an upper paper discharge roller 229, a lower paper discharge roller 244 and a control section 50. The upper paper discharge roller 229 and the lower paper discharge roller 244 are disposed at an edge on the paper receiving tray 28 side of the processing tray 24. The upper paper discharge roller 229 can come into contact with and away from the lower paper discharge roller 244. A control section 50 makes the upper paper discharge roller 229 start a descending motion at timing at which the upper paper discharge roller 229 comes into contact with paper 80 before the paper comes into contact with the paper receiving tray 28 if the paper 80 belongs to a second kind where the paper of the second kind is lighter in weight than a first kind. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
