POLARIZING PLATE

PURPOSE: A polarizing plate is provided to have superior physical properties when used for a large liquid crystal display which is 20 inches or more and to prevent curling or warpping in a low moisture condition. CONSTITUTION: An adhesive layer(101) has different tensile moduli along the thickness direction from one surface(101a) to the opposite surface(101b). The surface facing a polarizer has the lowest tensile modulus and the opposite surface has the highest tensile modulus. The surface of the adhesive layer facing the polarizer(103) or the protective film(102) has a different peel strength from the opposite surface of alkali-free glass.
