PURPOSE: A composition containing Erigeron canadensis l. or salt and caustic soda for bleaching a fiber is provided to perfectly remove colors of a defective fiber during a dyeing process. CONSTITUTION: A composition for bleaching a fiber contains a caustic soda and an accelerator. The caustic soda is corrosive and is able to remove dye in a fiber during a bleaching process. The accelerator improves bleaching speed. Erigeron canadensis l. or salt is used as the accelerator.
