PURPOSE: Oryza sativa-derived dhar(dehydroascorbate reductase) gene as a regulator of yield and environmental stress is provided to enhance the yield of a transgenic rice plant and resistance to environmental stress. CONSTITUTION: A use of Oryza sativa-derived dhar gene comprises: a step of transforming a recombinant vector containing Oryza sativa-derived dhar gene into a plant cell and: a step of overexpressing dhar gene. dhar gene has a base sequence of sequence number 1.
