Cytostatic Schiff bases. Compounds of formula: (where X, Y = H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy; W = H, lower alkoxy; Z = -NHCOOR or oxazolidin-2-one (1); R = opt. halo substd. lower aliphatic) are prepared by reaction of the 4 bis(2 chloroethyl)-amino benzaldehyde with a W, Z substd. aniline in the presence of a dehydrating agent. |
