<p>[Problem] To form a sealed water channel insulated from the outside for desert or polar regions such as the Antarctic, and to provide a sealed recirculation-type water channel so that water is made to circulate in a recirculating system to operate a water-wheel-type generator in the sealed water channel. [Solution] A water-channel unit substantially U-shaped in cross-section having a freely opening or freely removable lid, formed to the appropriate unit length, or this water-channel unit and a water-channel unit substantially box-shaped in cross-section having a closed ceiling, a plurality of which being connected and arranged to form a recirculating water channel in a closed ring shape having an appropriate total length, and the arrangement of the water-channel units being such that the channel surface of the recirculating water channel has a downward slope so that the water stored in the recirculating water channel is caused to flow downward by gravity, and also that a pump is located at least at the boundary between the starting point and the ending point of the recirculating water channel.</p> |
