<p>Disclosed are a resource control method and system for a broadband network. A resource control module is set. The resource control module is registered at an application server (AS) to exchange resource information with the AS. Upon receiving an operation request, the AS determines, according to resource information, whether a resource authentication request is required to be initiated to the resource control module, and performs, according to a result of the authentication performed by the resource control module, corresponding processing on a currently requested operation process. Further, at the end of the current operation process, the AS sends a resource release request to the resource control module, to request release of resources that are already applied for and corresponding to the operation request. Therefore, the resource control module provided by the present invention can perform authentication of corresponding resources in organic conjunction with the AS, so that the AS can perform resource control based on tenants in Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) models, so as to improve concentricity of resource management while improving the universality of the AS, thereby decreasing the complexity and costs of the resource management.</p> |
