The damper (10) has an inner carrier (12) rotatable around a rotational axis, and a mass ring (14) fixed coaxial to the inner carrier and arranged in radial distance to the inner carrier. Multiple spring elements (16) interconnect the inner carrier and the mass ring with each other. A stop formation part (18) comprises stop faces (22a, 22b, 34) that cooperate relative to the inner carrier for limiting rotation of the mass ring. One of the stop faces comprises a contact projection (32), which protrudes toward the other stop face. The stop formation part is formed by a recess at the mass ring.
