<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printing apparatus preventing inferior printing of a material to be printed by grasping mismatching in type between a set tray actually set and a set tray recognized by the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet textile printing apparatus comprises: a tray mounting unit 32 capable of changing a plurality of types of set trays; a detector 5 capable of detecting a type of a set tray mounted on the tray mounting unit 32 when a material T to be printed is set; a discriminating unit 7 for discriminating in type the set tray detected by the detector 5 from a set tray recognized in advance; and a control unit 19 for allowing the units to perform predetermined operations on the basis of the discriminated result by the discriminating unit 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
