An image processing device, provided with: a specifying unit for specifying an image region in which tone has been lost from a first captured image obtained by capturing an image of a subject; a picture structure image generator for positioning a second captured image, obtained by capturing an image of the same subject as that of the first captured image, onto the first captured image, extracting a picture structure corresponding to the image region specified by the specifying unit, and generating a picture structure image; and an interpolation unit for synthesizing the first captured image and the picture structure image generated by the picture structure image generator, and interpolating the image region in the first captured image. |
