The technical problem solved by the claimed solutions of an aircraft fuselage compartment joint assembly and the pressure bulkhead thereof is the design of low-mass constructions in conjunction with increased service life of the joint assembly and pressure bulkhead. The compartment joint assembly comprises the skins of the pressurized and non-pressurized compartments that are to be joined, said skins being reinforced with stringers, and a pressure bulkhead co-located with the pressurized and non-pressurized compartment joint, fittings located to the different sides of the pressure bulkhead, and a joint strip. The pressure bulkhead comprises a spherical shell with meridionally oriented load-bearing elements, inner and outer belts, a wall and a backup strip. The spherical shell abuts the wall of the pressure bulkhead. The backup strip is in the form of an annular ring with a bent profile. The inner flange of the backup strip is situated between the wall of the pressure bulkhead and the spherical shell, and the outer flange is situated between the fittings located in the pressurized compartment and the outer belt of the pressure bulkhead. The meridionally oriented load-bearing elements are integrated into a single unit with the spherical shell, the backup strip and the wall of the pressure bulkhead.
|
