ELECTROPHORETIC DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD THE SAME

PURPOSE: An electrophoretic image display and a method for driving the same are provided to prevent the flicker of a screen due to refresh driving. CONSTITUTION: Thin film transistors are formed on a lower substrate. Pixel electrodes formed on the lower substrate supplies driving voltage to pixels. An electrophoretic layer is formed on the pixel electrodes. A common electrode(130) formed on an upper substrate supplies common voltage to the electrophoretic layer. The common electrode is patterned to face the pixel electrode.
