PURPOSE: A word line driving circuit is provided to reduce a GIDL(Gate Induced Drain Leakage) current by controlling a voltage applied to a gate of a sub word line driver. CONSTITUTION: A word line selecting unit(20) includes a first pull-down device(N21) and a pull-up device(P20) connected between a selection signal applying terminal and a ground voltage terminal and drives a sub word line according to a main word line signal. The word line selecting unit controls a current flowing in the pull-up device by controlling a voltage applied to a common gate terminal between the pull-up device and the first pull-down device. A driving unit(21) selectively pulls down the sub word line according to an inversion signal of a selection signal.
