PURPOSE: A vehicle radar apparatus and a target tracking method thereof are provided to remove the blind spot area of a radar by suppressing a multiple path interference phenomenon caused by a ground reflection using the steering of multiple vertical beams. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting end forms and transmits multiple beams having different vertical directions by adding the vertical direction arrangement element of an antenna element. A receiving end receives beams coming from different vertical directions and sums the size of beams coming from different vertical directions. Multiple beams having different directions which the transmitting end transmits are able to supplement the position of a blind hole generated by the offset interference between a direct reflective wave directly reflected from a target and a ground reflective wave reflected by the ground.
