The oil pan has a bottom section (2) and side surfaces (3,3',3'',3''') surrounding the bottom section. The side surfaces are provided with bearing regions (5,5',5''') that have shell surface, and a vibration bearing area is provided for wounding the shell surface. The vibration bearing area is arranged spaced away from a main extension plane (8) of the side surface assigned to the bearing region. The vibration bearing area has a different elasticity or rigidity as compared to the shell surface, such that a different sound radiation property is produced. |
