PURPOSE: An improved filter assembly is provided to be easily fastened to all types of pipes and hoses by connecting a one-touch coupling type joint to an inlet of a housing main body. CONSTITUTION: An improved filter assembly comprises a housing main body(110), a filter, a first fluid path, a second fluid path, a case(150), a joint(160), and a fluid path selection valve member(170). A housing main body has an inlet(111), an outlet(112), and a coupling part. A filter connector is formed in the center of the coupling part. The filter has a first supporter which is connected to the filter connector of the housing main body on one end, and a second supporter, which has protruded parts with a fixed distance along the outer periphery, on the other end. The first fluid path guides water flowing through the inlet to the inside of the filter. The second fluid path is equipped in the housing main body, and guides the water filtered by the filter to the outlet. The case covers the filter and is combined to the coupling part of the main body. The joint is connected to the inlet of the housing main body, and is a one-touch coupling type. The fluid path selection valve member is combined to the outlet of the housing main body, and has a first exit(172) and a second exit(173) in which the fluid path is selectively connected to the outlet.
