PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring momentum by using a GPS function and a plurality of sensors are provided to selectively utilize a momentum measuring passage using the GPS function and a momentum measuring passage using the plurality of sensors, thereby efficiently coping with changes in the performance of a measuring device. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring momentum by using a GPS function and a plurality of sensors comprises a user input unit(10), a first momentum measuring unit(20), a second momentum measuring unit(30), and a control unit(40). The user input unit selects one between a passage using a GPS and a passage using a plurality of sensors as a momentum measuring passage. When the passage using the GPS is selected by the user input unit, the first momentum measuring unit measures the momentum by using the GPS function. When the passage using the sensors is selected by the user input unit, the second momentum measuring unit measures the momentum by using the sensors. When measuring the momentum by using the first momentum measuring unit, the control unit periodically compares the size of GPS signals and a reference value. If the size of the GPS signals is less than the reference value, the control unit changes the momentum measuring passage to measure the momentum by using the second momentum measuring unit.
