PURPOSE: A door locking prevention system and a method thereof are provided to improve the convenience of usage by reducing user efforts for unlocking a door several times. CONSTITUTION: A door locking prevention system includes a smart key(110), an AVN unit(120), and a Bluetooth cell phone(130). The smart key transmits a RF signal to unlock a vehicle door according to the operation of a user. The Bluetooth cell phone is carried by a user. The AVN unit unlocks a vehicle door according to the received RF signal, and attempts pairing with the Bluetooth cell phone by pre-booting before a vehicle starts in case a starting signal is transmitted. In case the pairing with a Bluetooth cell phone is maintained, the AVN unit outputs a door unlocking maintenance signal and prevents the locking of the vehicle door by executing the timeout of a timer which is activated with the unlocking of the vehicle door.
