<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for measuring the pressure and amount of sump water which can easily and accurately measure the pressure and amount of sump water. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for measuring the pressure and amount of sump water comprises a sump water pressure measuring portion 10 for measuring the pressure of sump water, and a sump water amount measuring portion 20 connected to the sump water pressure measuring portion 10 and measuring the amount of sump water. After closing a space between the outer peripheral surface of a body pipe 11 and the hole wall 2b of a hole 2 by a packer 12, sump water A, B is introduced into a flow passage of the body pipe 11, the flow passage is closed by an on-off valve, and then the hydraulic pressure in the flow passage is measured, subsequently the flow rate of the sump water A, B passing through the inside of a vertical pipe 22 disposed vertically is measured. The method for measuring the pressure and amount of sump water uses the measuring apparatus 1. Thereby the flow of the sump water can be temporarily stopped during the measurement of the sump water pressure, and mixing of air into the flow passage of the vertical pipe can be prevented during the measurement of the sump water amount.
