PURPOSE: A theft or loss prevention device using WiFi is provided to easily manage valuables by preventing theft and loss without difficulty. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(11) consists of two sensors. The two sensors are installed in the top and bottom of an item subject to protection and detects isolation from the item subject to protection. A memory(12) stores information such as telephone numbers, mail addresses, alarm commands and et cetera of a smart phone to transmit if the item is isolated from the sensor unit. A button(13) orders theft prevention operation commencement command on the item subject to protection. A WiFi communication unit(15) transmits an alarm command stored in the memory to a designated mobile device(21) through a first and a second antenna(ANT1,ANT2) if the isolation signal is received from the sensor unit or if the item subject to protection is away by a specific distance. A theft or loss prevention application(22) is installed in a mobile device and outputs a theft alarm to a user according to a received alarm command from the WiFi communication unit.
