The invention relates to a cover for mounting on a wheel bearing (13) and a wheel bearing module having such a cover and the wheel bearing, and a method for producing a cover for mounting on a wheel bearing. The cover comprises a cover body (10), primarily made of plastic, and a sensor. The cover is configured for a press fit in the wheel bearing. For the press fit, at least one metal part (11) is provided on the cover body (10) allowing a metal/metal grouting under pressure during installation. At least one sealing and compensation element (22) is provided between the at least one metal part (11) and the cover body (10).
