PURPOSE: A vehicle management device and a method thereof are provided to easily check maintenance records and the current condition of a vehicle by directly receiving condition information about the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An input interface unit(110) receives information on the condition of a vehicle and settings of a transmission cycle from a driver. An information collecting unit(120) collects the information on the condition of the vehicle according to the settings. A control unit(140) transmits the collected information on the condition of the vehicle to a management server at the set transmission cycle by the control of a wireless communication unit(130).
